  • Marking

This type of automation enables a firm to process, in the most efficient manner, these miscellaneous shapes by going from stock length material to finished parts in one automated CNC operation. The Ficep systems typically eliminate the manual layout operations and automates material handling, production of holes, notches, part marking and cutting the finished part to length!

Ficep Roller Feed Punch/Shear Angle Lines

The Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines includes systems with a roller feed drive and measuring system. The roller feed system is often used by structural steel fabricators who process shorter detail parts. The "HP" and "XP" models are generally employed in those applications where longer parts with a higher degree of accuracy is required such as the fabrication of towers. All the Ficep angle line products are based upon a Windows based CNC control which is provided with the proprietary Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting with an internet connection.

Ficep Rack and Pinion Carriage Style Punch/Shear Angle Line -Model XP

The Ficep family of CNC controlled angle lines has been expanded to include the XP Series of angle lines which are without any doubt the world's fastest and most productive lines. They all feature a material positioning speed of 328 feet per minute which includes a carriage type system with rack and pinion measuring for the ultimate in accuracy and automation. The "XP" models feature a higher hydraulic pressure system with programmable pump volume to achieve unbelievable press cycles. The internal material clamping system utilizes roller clamps to eliminate the need to clamp and unclamp the material after each punch cycle. Options can be added to incorporate such additional capabilities such as marking, notching and drilling. These models also include a higher degree of automation for the automatic unloading of the drops for example. All the Ficep angle line products are based upon a Windows based CNC control which is provided with the proprietary Ficep software that permits remote troubleshooting with an internet connection.

Ficep Drill/Shear/Saw/Carbide Cutting Angle Line

The Rapid angle lines were originally developed to address those fracture critical application such as transmission towers and bridges where the code prohibits punching and shearing. Understanding these criteria the Rapid utilizes high speed carbide drilling and carbide sawing rather than punching and shearing. The drill spindles of the Rapid feature independent sub axis positioning so it is not necessary to always position the angle for holes with different length dimensions and holes can be drilled in both legs simultaneously even if they do not share the same length coordinate. When combining high speed drilling with independent drill spindles the Rapid offers enhanced productivity over punching in many applications!

TIPO D50-F
Automatic CNC high speed drilling & sawing line for flats, angles and channels

The Tipo D50 F features the maximum versatility of the FICEP product range for miscellaneous shapes. This CNC system provides two high performance spindles each with its own sub-axis positioning for maximum productivity. The sub-axis capability enables holes in two surfaces of the member to be processed simultaneously even if the holes are not in alignment. This features in conjunction with the utilization of carbide tools generates a productivity that can compete with punching.

The sub-axis capability of the drilling spindles enables diverse milling routines for generating slots, holes that exceed the drilling capacity, scribing, angle heel milling and more.

A circular carbide saw is integrated into the line for cutoff. The mitering of the saw offers unique capability for a miscellaneous CNC system as it is fully programmable to accommodate cuts up to 60 degrees in each direction. The incorporation of this cutting device permits angles, channels, flats and small beams to be processed without any set up of the cutting process.
